It is that time of the year to submit your uniform orders for 2011. The uniform company, Squadra, will once again supply our uniforms since they are Specialized’s contracted uniform supplier for North America. There will be no changes to the material and construction of the uniforms from our 2010 uniforms except for the possibility of a different Specialized pad. Specialized has notified Squadra of a possible change, and they will receive the details in about two weeks. The good news for 2011 is unit costs. The 2011 order form unit costs are on the average of $2 to $5 less than 2010.

The attached order form is for Squadra, ORC sponsored items only. The club has winter apparel, (long sleeve jerseys, windvests, windjackets, armwarmers), with no sponsor logos for sale. Also, water bottles, socks, caps, t-shirts are for sale. For these items, please get in touch with Dennis Sutherlin or Rich Benton. We will not be ordering club logo gloves this year.
Okay, here are the instructions for ordering:
Please send your filled out order form, (you can enter quantities on the form), and MAIL it with your 50% deposit, (deposit must accompany your form), to our PO Box, (address is on the form).
I can hear some of you saying, “Isn’t the U.S. Postal Service out of business?” No, not yet.
Please mail your orders.
The end date for receipt to our PO box is October 15th. There will be NO CLUB MEETING ON THAT DATE. So, if you are planning to submit your order in person on October 15th, you will be out of luck.
If you do not want to submit an order, but want to wait to purchase inventory from the club stock we will order, that’s OK but you run the possibility of your size not available at the time of purchase. Also, the unit cost for club stock will be $5 more than the prices on this order form.
If you are a ORC Sponsored Rider for 2010, you will be contacted in the next few weeks regarding sponsorship status for 2011. At this time, please do not submit a uniform order for your club kit. However, if you plan to purchase additional uniform items on this order form, please do it at this time.
If all goes according to plan, (order forms received, submit order to Squadra, receive and proof sponsor’s artwork, approve artwork layout with Squadra, etc.), we should receive our uniforms in mid-January.
Now, how about renewing your membership for 2011 at the same time you mail in your uniform order?
If you do it at the same time, your renewal rate is less than waiting until 2011. Please do.
Just like uniform instructions, there are a couple membership renewal instructions:
You must submit a new ORC waiver form when you submit payment. If you are renewing a family membership, all your family members must submit a waiver. If you do not submit a new waiver, I’m sorry to say that I will have to hunt you down.
Also, if there has been a change to your address, phone numbers, etc., please submit a new updated application form.
Both of these forms are available on our website. Just print, fill out and send it with your payment to our PO box.

Attached is a revised 2011 ORC uniform order form. Squadra, our uniform supplier, has decided to manufacture Youth jerseys. These jerseys will be made with the same material, same screening as our Adult jerseys. Only jerseys are available, no shorts. We would need a minimum order of 6 total jerseys to add to our order.
Youth jersey sizing is:
Small/6-8
Medium/8-10
Large/10-12
XLarge/12-14.
Remember, October 15th is your deadline to get your uniform orders with your deposit received to our PO Box.
