Lucas and Neal finished the National TT yesterday – for the results see:

Criterium:
In the criterium today Lucas Wardein finished 3rd!!!!!
Neal crashed with 12 laps to go. It was a real shame – they had a gap on the bunch.
Neal and his bike were run over by a bunch of guys and Neal’s frame has a ~14″ chunk out of the top tube and a cracked right seat stay.
For his RR on Sunday he will borrow a spare bike from Shimano.
Road Race:
Lucas finishes up his Nationals with a really gutsy 3rd place in the Jr. National Road Race. Lucas got dropped on 2 of the climbs but was able to catch back on the descent and then contest the finish. (60K – 2 laps of a 27K circuit).
Congratulations Lucas – on a great performance at Junior Nationals!!!!!

Neal will be doing 113K (4 laps) starting at 8 am on Sunday morning.
It is a good course with over 1000′ of climbing per lap – should be a real challenge for the lads.
