Congrats to Neal Shepherd for qualifying for the bronze medal race in 3K pursuit in the 17-18 Men’s Junior Track Nationals!
Neal made it into the bronze medal 3K pursuit in the 17-18 Men’s Junior Track Nationals by finishing 4th in the qualifying rounds. He will be racing for a possible 3rd place medal if he can defeat the lad who finished ahead of him this morning. Neal’s Team TT mate – Matt Lipscomb is in the gold medal final against Lawson Craddock who won all 3 events at Jr. Road Nationals.
Not too bad for Neal’s first big track meet. We have been training for this for the past few months with as much time behind the scooter and at the track in Atlanta as he could fit in. Training pays off again! Even if Neal finishes 4th this is the first National Track Medal for any ORC racer!
