Orlando Road Club, Inc. (ORC) was established in 1992 as a Florida not-for-profit corporation. ORC was reorganized in 1998 and its by-laws and articles of incorporation were amended and restated in December, 2000. On June 1, 2001, ORC was recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt, charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, a designation that only a tiny handful of bike clubs have achieved..
ORC has approximately 90 members and welcomes anyone who is serious about cycling. ORC is also seeking your support and will gratefully accept charitable contributions in cash or other property. All contributions will be used to further the tax exempt purposes of the organization (i.e., the development of its cyclists), especially toward the junior program. Contributions will generally be deductible (consult your tax advisor for specific details and information).
